  • INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON SUSTAINABILITY IN CIVIL ENGINEERING (ICSCE 2020)

On 26-27thNovember, 2020, the International Conference on Sustainability in Civil Engineering (ICSCE 2020) opened at the University of Transport and Communication (Hanoi). ️

Article: " Effects of steel corrosion to BFRP Strengthened columns under eccentric loading" by the authors. MSc. Huynh Xuan Tin, PhD. Ngo Thanh Thuy and his colleagues also attended the Conference. And honored to be published in the International Journal of Materials and Engineering Structures (JMES Journal of Materials and Engineering Structures)

Here, Eng. Do Minh Truyen presented a report on the effect of steel corrosion on the reinforcing efficiency of BFRP fiber sheets for reinforced concrete columns subjected to eccentric compressive loads. The article was highly appreciated at the conference, the successful reporting session.

Application of CFRP / BFRP fiber sheet gluing has been implemented in 2 bridges in the Mekong Delta, which are Xa Dieu Bridge - Ben Tre Province and An Phuoc Bridge - Dong Thap Province in the past.

ICSCE Conference 2020 is the third international conference to be held after two successful conferences. This conference received many high-quality and innovative reports from domestic and foreign scientists, with more than 200 summaries from 17 countries and territories, focusing on more than 20 different topics. in the fields of construction, transport and environment.

The conference is held every 2 years, with the aim of being a high-quality international forum, attracting many domestic and foreign scientists, experts and scholars. The conference will be in the list of major conferences in the world (Scopus, ISI, ...)
